Don't fit my air tool

This product is excellent, however, I have an issue. The pneumatic orbital sander I have requires an M6 X 1.0 threaded spindle, this set like every other on Amazon has a plain-ended spindle shaft.Other than cutting the threads with a die set myself, which is proving to be a nightmare because of the hardened, chrome steel used in the spindle, I would like to find a supplier with a double threaded (each end) M6 X 1.0 shaft.Any help greatly appreciated!

Overall the set is fine, but you need to be aware that the shaft on the disc adapter is not 1/4" like advertised, it's 6mm (.235"). If you're using this tool in a drill with an adjustable chuck it's not going to matter to you, but if you're using this in a Die Grinder or a "Flapper Adapter", which use 1/4" collets the shaft won't fit. I tightened my collet down all the way and the shaft still spins. I thought about returning it but needed it for a project so I remade the shaft to a proper .250" and threaded the end (1/4-20) on my lathe. I was annoyed I had to do this but given the time crunch on the project I had no other choice.

These things are great. Reshaped the edge on my axe the other day, and they don't heat up and scorch the temper out of the steel like a bench grinder does if you're not super careful. The discs themselves don't have a very long lifespan, but you can buy more in bulk really cheap once you have the roll lock head.

I like these. I used them to sharpen my ax and my loppers today for yardwork. They work well on my die grinder. I borrowed this idea from Wranglerstar on YouTube. I have only used flap wheels for smoothing and polishing previously.
