Size

Use the blade:

1, Blade should not extend too long, generally within half a millimeter is better, while paying attention to extended balde longer properly when carve the small print,in order to avoid the blade holder take the carved strokes away. Suitably engraved small print with new cutter and slow down.

2, when the word carved with angular phenomenon,you should change the blade to eliminate the problem,if the phenomenon persists after change blade,it should be the holder problem.

3, when problem arise the blade holder,try a drop of oil in the bearing and rotate the blade several times to lubricate, if still unresolved, consider replacing the blade holder.

I dislike leaving a bad review. But these blades are terrible. Not worth a single penny. The blades that are provide with the holder do not fit in the holder. I tried to get the blade to come out of the tip so that it could be used in my cutter. Nothing. The blade got jammed, when I pulled it out, the whole inside of the black cap came out. I do not recommend this to anyone. I now have to purchase more blade holders. These are so tricky to find reputable blade holders.

I received the adapter that looked just like the picture, and it fits in the cameo 4 using either the blue or gray silhouette blade adapter. I had an issue with it dragging across the paper when cutting out different objects, but was able to get it working perfectly after testing with the blade adapter height in the holder. Definitely going to buy another one and a few more blades with the springs!

Cuts perfect with my cameo 4. Took a star off because It has no numbers or any kind of guides to find the perfect amount of blade you need for cutting a material. My solution and recommendation for this issue is buying one blade holder for each material. In my case I have 3, 1 for vinyl, 1 for cardstock and one for thicker card stocks.
