It fit in the drain hole and appears it is tight. Only installed this after we took the kayaks out for the winter, so next summer we will be able to tell if it is tight enough to keep out the water.

this is exactly the product i ordered and received, it is a boat plug which fits a drain hole that is 3/4 inches. it is black, it came in within the allotted amount of time, it works.
