These work, but I feel like the whole system is sorta flaky - one thing bolted to another and bolted to another with a pin through it - I'm going to look into something more substantial to mount things to.

I needed the extra height for my Yakima roof rack to fit properly on my '71 VW Bus. These spacers did the trick. Read the directions and take your time with the install. My rack is just as strong with no noticeable sway with the taller height.

I have a Land Rover Discovery that has a very high roof above the rain gutters and needed these to push the cross bar higher up. Well made and sturdy bolts are included.
