To get an idea of the color concentration, place a few drops of wax onto a piece of white paper. The wax will immediately set up and give you an idea of the color of your candle. You can add more dye to reach your desired color. These are not for use with gel wax. .75 ounces.

Least favorite dye blocks I have ever used. They are too thick and did not melt well. The blocks are hard to work with/cut. And the pigmentation is very muted/dull-m not bright or vibrant at all. Much prefer the Candle Science dye wafers or dye chips from maple street candle makers out of Lexington KY.

Does not work as well as others that I have used. Cutting off chunks instead of it having pieces that you can use is really messy and wasteful. Might work well for someone who is making huge amounts of candles at once.

This item is great! A little goes a long way, and its way better than using dye chips. All you have to do is shave off a little product from the block, and then to test the color you can drop a little bit of the candle mixture on a white sheet of paper. Works every time! You could also weigh it out if you need to be more precise in your colorings. Item does exactly what its supposed to, and I will be back to buy more once I run out of this block of dye.I highly recommend this item!

Not a good product. I would not recommend it to anyone. Try the dyes from Peak Candles. The dyes are not strong enough and too expensive.Chuck

This item was ordered for a baseball themed bridal shower. The bride is a Chicago Cub fan and the groom is a St. Louis Cardinal fan. I used the dye to make baseball themed candles, blue for the Cubs and red for the Cardinals. The candles were placed in baseball themed gift bags along with other baseball themed items for guest to take home and enjoy to help remember this special day. Everything was in red, white and blue for the Cubs and Cardinals.

This dye is excellent for candlemaking, we love the color and it makes all my candles dazzling in an array of blue, just add as much as it says, a little less for lighter color, a little more for darker.

This is sold for $2.50 at Art Stores. Therefore it should not be sold over $5. But it will cost too much to return it. So I'm stuck with it.

I received my first block within timely manner, perfect. Works great! The second block I wasn't so lucky with. Delivered on time...except there was nothing in the package. I have to think the company is lacking something if they can put the cardboard backing into an envelope, seal it, and send it out- not noticing one thing wrong. Luckily, Amazon is awesome and are refunding me what I spent on this as well as the shipping on the next one. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from Yaley again- a 50/50 chance of getting what I ordered is not what I'm looking for.PS...I gave it two stars because, well, I only got 50% of my purchase, they can get 50% (or close to) stars.
