These bolts don't fit the 1992 940. Hex head is smaller, thread is too small, length is too short. Pretty much everything doesn't fit which is probably why it is frequently returned.

Amazon said they will fit my 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis but they dont. Luckly I tried to hand tighten one bolt and not use a impact straight off. I compared the threads on OEM to these and it was off.Recommend taking 1 bolt off your car and going to hardware store and getting it sized. Then compare to the dimensions on the package.Other than that, they are nice and shinny and would have looked great on my chrome differential cover instead of the old rusted OEMs. I dont blame the manufacturer of the bolts so 4 star on bolt , 1 star on amazon telling me it would fit.
