As a happy above-ground pool owner, you get to add just one simple step in setting up your swimming pool to make it last longer, perform better, and feel comfier. Place the above ground pool pad under the liner for extra protection.
✔ Spread it out, and that’s it:
- for hard-wall pools: build the frame, clear and level the ground inside, install the pool coves, unfold the above ground pool underlayment pad, and smooth it out evenly: it’s okay for the pad to cover the coves, too
- for soft-wall pools (inflatable included): clear and level the ground, unfold the pool liner mat, and place the pool on top of it
- the above ground pool base pad can go onto the soil, grass, sand, concrete, and wood
- no installation tools needed
- variety of sizes, for oval and round pools
- can be easily trimmed if your pool is smaller
✔ Protection maximized:
- made of premium, exceptionally strong geotextile
- the pad for under pool protects the liner from stones, sharp objects, plant roots, growing grass, and bugs
- pad for under inflatable pool to prevent punctures and slow down the natural wear and tear
- prolongs the life of the liner for above ground pool: up to 3 times!
✔ Extra benefits: soft, insulating, anti-spill:
- padding for under pool acting as an additional cushioning layer between your feet and the ground
- the liner pad for above ground pool helps stabilize the water temperature
- pool mats for pool bottom to let less water through: with reduced spillage, erosion under the pool is less likely
- more secure than a thick tarp for under pool
- only the best for your pool time!

This is a nice and heavy under pool mat! It has the feel of a heavy felt that will help hide any small rocks that might have been missed during the set up of your pool. I had 2 rocks under the liner in my previous set up with no way to remove or hide them, this has eliminated that concern. It functioned as designed doing exactly as I wanted! The cost is a little high but is worth it due to the quality and being all one piece without seams, the sizing was perfect. I would recommend this mat to anyone wanting an extra layer of protection!

For some reason I was expecting something really tough. This is a cushion fabric. Nice and thick. Great size. I have not set out my pool yet but I personally laid this out just to kind of see how it is. It looks like it'll do great. Easy to use. Functions well. Would recommend.

As another reviewer pointed out, this pool liner has an interconnected fiber structure to the felt, which makes it much stronger than many similar liners, but is also a thinner, and softer material as well. It guards against any reasonable threats to pool bottoms, works great as a weed suppressant (I'm using it primarily for weeds right now), and overall is one of the best pool liner I have so far (all my top contenders are just different offerings from this company). The size is great, it covers the specified pool size and then some, water passes right through, and it feels comfortable to bare feet.

I was looking for a geotextile material and found this material for under an above ground pool. It is thinner than normal geotextile fabric but it is durable enough for what I am using it for. II ordered the 18" X 33 ft. and can be cut to size to fit your needs. I am using this for a waterfall runoff underlayment to put the black plastic on so it won't puncture and it works really well. Not it's intended purpose but it works perfectly. Good price for the amount of area you can cover with it.

At first look, the liner doesn’t look to be very thick and you might be wondering…how is this supposed to deter rocks and otherwise intrusive objects from interfering with my pool bottom? But, once you actually feel the fabric, there is your answer! This fabric feels somewhat like felt fabric, only some felt can be torn apart bare handed; this fabric is NOT like that. You can feel the fibers connecting like layers of spider webbing, like it disperses the tension the way chain mail suits do against a shark bite…spreading out the tension rather it just occurring in one spot. That makes this fabric extremely secure! The size is on the mark and they don’t skimp on material, so you won’t be falling short to actually cover the area your pool will sit. It goes down easy, it reminded me of landscaping fabric in a way (the sort you install prior to laying mulch or gravel to stop weeds from growing up through it). This is of course thicker, but it lays easy the same way as the landscaping fabric. So far, so good as for functionality! I really don’t see foresee any issues with it and it is so much tougher than the previous tarp we had down before it.

I was very impressed by this pool liner pad—it's one of those rare products that exceeds expectations. The material feels thick and durable, yet lightweight enough to handle easily. Installation was simple and straightforward, and I appreciated that it could be trimmed to fit perfectly. It made a huge difference in comfort underfoot and gave me peace of mind knowing my liner is well protected. It even provides a bit of insulation and helps prevent erosion. For the price, this is an exceptional value. Highly recommend, especially if you want to extend the life of your pool!

This is the exact perfect size for the pool. It is thinner than I thought it would be and is more like a thin piece of felt. I had to spray it with a water hose when installing it to make sure the wind didn’t blow it over. I also put a tarp underneath it because it was kind of thin. Although it’s thin, it seems pretty durable and should hold up for its purpose. I would recommend.

I got this pool liner pad for a bit of an off-brand use. We recently bought property, and it has cactus growing all over it and the only way to really get rid of them is to cover them up and let them die off. In comes this cover. It is thick enough and strong enough, which it needs to be for this job. It isn’t a plastic but more like a tough fabric known as a geotextile, which means it doesn’t tear like a plastic would. It does allow water to seep through, though at a slower rate to prevent erosion, so if you are looking for something waterproof this isn’t it. It makes a great weed barrier and keeps anything underneath from sprouting up, so for my intended use, it’s perfect and it covers a nice large area.
