I was thrilled when I learned affordable aftermarket heads up, GPS speed displays were on the market that only required USB power. The display works with and without the included reflective film. There's a double image without the film, but its still very readable. The display quickly acquired the GPS signal and was responsive to speed changes; however, the reported speed was consistently 8% too high. This is not a problem at low speeds, but on the highway it can report 5+ mph too high. I contacted the manufacturer about the problem. They were very responsive and provided a replacement unit. Unfortunately, replacement also report 8% too high. Given the error at highway speeds, I can only recommend the Yaouzicin heads up display for use at speeds less than 35 mph.

The HUD is really nice and easy to read. The display dims nicely, depending on the time of day. It's nice to know how fast I'm driving without taking my eyes from the road. The only negative is that the included cable is really short. To make it work at all, you'll need the wire just drapping across your dashboard, which is ugly and no one want that. A nice long, thin cable should have been included so you can hide it appropriately.

Upon receiving this in the mail. I opened the package and examined it. The unit felt nice and solid, and the cable length pretty substantial. And after hooking it up seemed to keep decent accuracy with my vehicles cluster as well a navigation, though was not fully accurate (not that I can blame it) But it is close enough that you should feel comfortable with what it says (do not take this as legal advice, use this as a backup only and rely on trusted methods such as google maps, what ever IOS has, or more importantly your instrument cluster)The display, specially once you install the included reflector material reads nicely, at least in overcast weather like it had today with a snow storm. But should be just as readable during noon on a clear day.
