I picked up this 4-inch yard drain emitter, and it’s been a great fix for my drainage issues. The angled slope design works perfectly for directing water away from the house, and it connects easily to my existing 4-inch pipes. It’s sturdy, fits well with my sump pump discharge and gutter extensions, and handles heavy rain without a problem. If you’re looking for an easy way to improve yard drainage, this does the job!

Heavy duty, blends well into the yard. I've had it installed for a little while. Been run over by my tractor multiple times. It's holding up very well. Very happy with it.

I've used several of these enhancing the drainage around my house. They make for a great way to hide the outlets.Pros:Sturdy - no need to worry about it getting brokenGrate is easily removed for cleaning - also well secured so a determined critter can't get in.I found attaching it to my 4in corrugated pipe easy using the recommended rubber connector with clamps.Cons:The green is bright. I'd prefer a slightly darker shade as I find that helps things blend in better.

Our front lawn is very slanted and our existing drain kind of just pops out in the middle of the lawn. We had many different attempts at preventing dirt from going towards the pipe with a standard gutter lids. With this we are successfully able to ensure water will always drain and the surrounding dirt doesn't fill the path of the drain. Installation is easy, just fits in to the existing drain. Definitely recommend!

Really high quality and strong drain pipe exit. Looks great and blends into grass. Also helps slow and prevent erosion.Easy to install and works great. Strong and durable. Quality is excellent. Way better than anything I’ve seen in a big box store.

I got this to fix a drain cover that had previously been hit by a mower. The angle on this one fits very well with the yard and I have no concerns about hitting it anymore. It also is easy to install and makes it very easy to clean out by removing two screws. The pipe connection portion of the product is nice and thick, and made with sturdy PVC. I expect it to be plenty durable, but time will tell.

This is a pretty simple device - a steeply cut piece of what appears to be schedule 80 PVC pipe and a plastic grate attached with 2 stainless machine screws. I like its simplicity, but question the price. I'm also concerned about 2 things - the screws are just threaded into the plastic pipe - I get all kinds of junk flowing down my drain pipes and imagine I'll have to clean this out annually and I'm picturing these stripping out. My other concern is the flush cut on the back of the unit - I'll take a de-burring tool to that before installation to keep stuff from catching on it.I've seen another version of this that allows the grate to open without unscrewing the cover. I may go that route for future drainage projects.
