These are REVERSE POLARITY from standard SAE and nowhere in the description does it say that. Check carefully before using if you already have them. Otherwise, there are better, standardized choices out there.

The clips and connector are of decent quality and function fine. The clips are a bit difficult to attach to an installed motorcycle battery due to the plastic housing being a bit larger than expected but they did work. If the battery were not installed the clips would have worked fine.

These clips work ok and will accept the battery tender SAE style plug. However, the clips must be used in reverse in order to charge the battery. That means, I have to put the red/positive clip on the negative terminal of the battery. And the black/negative clip on the positive terminal. There's no shorting or anything, it's just the way they are wired and my SAE connector on my tender is wired. And I couldn't find any information about that before I got it. I'm outside the return window to see if I could have returned or exchanged them. So if that's not possible, they will still suffice. So if the picture is accurate, which it appears that it is, the connector looks like the positive wire is the exposed one, and the negative covered. Perhaps I can find an adapter for it to correctly plug in to the tender so it properly matches the colors to the terminals.
