These googly eyes looked like they’d be good for a laugh so I requested a set.They are huge, as promised, and the inner pupils wiggle around just as easily as the small ones. They have a self-adhesive backing, you just need to pick at the edges until you lift the paper. I haven’t committed to a final placement so I just pulled off part of the backing and stuck them on my guitar case to try them out. The adhesive kept them on just fine. I’ll note it was very easy to remove them; it could be due to the texture on the case but since it didn’t leave any residue behind, it’s possible they are made to be repositionable. Of course, that could also be because I didn’t leave them on for long.One of the eyes has a rather glaring flaw on the edge—there’s a dark smudge of something that got sealed into the edge, so I can’t remove it. Since it’s such a dark color, it’s hard to ignore. I’ll also note that the white background material is not fully opaque: if you want to put them on a very colorful or patterned background, you will see it through the whites.They are a fun novelty but I would have preferred if the backs were not slightly transparent. It’s also unfortunate that the edge of one eye ended up getting some kind of schmutz stamped in as well.
