I get my eggs from a local farmer and they are always large to extra large and I happened to have store bought large free range eggs. Both types of eggs were too large for the cutter and I had to rotate the cutter on the eggs to score it to get the top off. I'm sure it works perfectly on smaller eggs.

They did not cut my eggs I used reg size eggs and it did not work. I will see if I can find smaller eggs
