I ordered this YESNO Women's Summer Boho Floral Maxi Skirts Casual Flowy Tiered A-Line Elastic Waist Skirt with Pockets for spring because I loved the long, flowy skirt and the green brocade inspired fabric design. This skirt is made from a blend of 61.3% cotton/38.7% rayon. The fabric is lightweight and breathes beautifully; it has a very slight stiffness that adds to the structure if the skirt, but is not at all uncomfortable to wear. The skirt is flowy; the three tier design and ornate pattern give it a high end boutique look that can be styled many ways; from cottagecore to boho and beyond.I love the subtle three-d quality of the fabric pattern; initially, all I noticed were the large green motifs, reminiscent of the repeating patterns in a brocade. These motifs are scattered across the skirt; they are evocative of greenery and of heraldic devices like scrolls, swoops, and canopies, and are executed in light and dark green shades. The background off the fabric is cream, but when you get closer, you notice that there’s another entire pattern superimposed between the cream background and the green designs. This is another brocade like pattern, not identical but similar to the green motifs. This pattern overlays the cream background in light and darker beige.I had to look at the fabric closely to notice the three layers in the patterns; mostly what I saw initially was the large green motifs and a sense of movement in the fabric design. If this description makes the pattern sound busy, then I’m describing it wrong. It’s not busy, but it’s intricate; the patterns and colors give a sense of movement to the lightweight fabric; as do the flowy tiers of the long skirt.I’m short, 5’2”, and this skirt hits the top of my feet. I usually wear a size S or M skirt; I looked at the cut of the top tier, straight across the belly and hips, and decided the M would be the best bet. The M fits me easily; there’s extra room in the stretchy elastic waistband if I need it, but I used the working drawstrings to draw the waist in a bit. By the way, I tied knots in the end of the drawstrings; you may want to do the same, so they don’t slip inside the slits in the waistband when this goes through the laundry.I really love this skirt; both the three layered green and beige brocade/floral pattern and the style. I worried that the width of the full length skirt might overwhelm me since I’m short, but the skirt wasn’t cut as wide as it looked in the sales photos; the slightly slimmer cut was figure flattering to me and probably to many different figure types. The one thing I didn’t love about this skirt was the cut of the top tier. The combination of the elastic waistband, the pockets in the side seam (don’t get me wrong, I love pockets, but the placement of them widened that tier visually) and the horizontal line of the seam between the first and second tier added up to a lot of horizontal lines that cut across the stomach and hip area. For me, this skirt looks best with a tunic top that covers the first tier of the skirt, or an overblouse that can be belted, showing my waist, but covering the stomach area. A v neck sweater works, too. My belly isn’t perfectly flat, and the way the top tier is cut makes it look larger. This can easily be gamed by choosing the right top.At the current price ($34.99) I think this skirt is a nice bargain; it’s hard to find cotton clothing nowadays, and this cotton blend skirt has style elements (the intricate pattern, well-sewn construction, attractive aesthetic) that seem far more high end than the price point might suggest. You can dress this skirt up or down, depending on how you style it. It’s very comfortable and will be cool to wear even on hot humid days in spring and summer. I was surprised to see another reviewer say it could be worn as a dress, but I took their advice and spun it around so the drawstring wasn’t visible. Pulled up over the bosom, with a belt at the waist and a cardigan, this maxi skirt actually makes a cute dress. Thank you, fellow reviewer! This skirt comes in eight attractive patterns. I ordered Floral 425, a green pattern over a cream background and a beige design. I’ve been eyeing some of the other skirts; the floral prints are lovely for spring, and the black and grey plaid would be great with boots for fall.

This is such a beautiful skirt! It's one of my favorite finds on Amazon. I love the cottagecore vibes it gives. It has a vintage feel to it and is so comfortable to wear. It is lightweight and breezy to wear, very breathable and perfect for summer.Fit: I'm 5'4" 175n lbs and this skirt is very long, it hits the floor on me if I'm wearing flats. With my 3" espadrilles it's perfect. I also love wearing my cowboy boots with it. My waist is 36" and hips are 48". I got this in the 2XL size and it's slightly large on me. I wanted it to be very full and have a lot of draping fabric though so I ordered it one size bigger than my size would be on purpose and I absolutely love how it fits me!I love the design of this skirt. I got it in the blue color and in person it's a beautiful cornflower/ periwinkle dusty powder blue. It reminds me of the sound of music and the awesome western wear of some of the characters in the new Westworld show. It's so awesome- it even has POCKETS! One on each hip, and they are useful pockets, as in they're big enough to actually use and big enough to fit my entire hand in or a small phone. The waist has a simple adjustable drawstring. The tiered skirt is very boho chic and looks great styled with western wear too. It has a nice textured detailing on the entire skirt. It has a lot of movement and is so fun to twirl in. It has a ton of fabric. It makes me want to frolic in a filed of sunflowers or something, lol. It's perfect for photo shoots!

This skirt is beautiful in person. Very lightweight. I am tall and have an 36" inseam, so I returned the xlarge for a 2x to get as much length as possible. I'm normally a size 14 and xlarge was recommended and fit well, I just wanted a little extra length in case it shrank. Honestly with the stretchy waist and draw strings I could have gone anywhere from L - 2x.
