I wanted a small latch hook project that is easy to travel with. These canvases fit the bill! The edges are finished, unlike so make other latch hook projects I've done. Easy to graph, with clearly printed grid marks.Perfect for a beginner because its small size is not intimidating. My hubby showed interest, and he will work this one as his first project.

I have two children with notable sensory needs who love the feel of shag rugs. I have some art skills and feel comfortable doing my own “pixel” designs for a latch-hook rug, so I ordered these to make custom sensory rugs featuring my kids’ favorite cartoon characters for them to keep near their beds.The blank mesh canvas seems accurate to size, though you should note that the 28cm is from outer edge to outer edge. It is not a measure of the interior working space, which is slightly smaller. I greatly appreciate the 10x10 grids for tracking your place, and I love that it comes with two latch-hooks. My children could help make their sensory rugs if they want this way.It’s an excellent set, and I look forward to putting these into action for my kids. My only thought is they are small for a standard seat cushion, but they would do find for a small throw cushion or a sensory rug that just needs to be big enough for hands to run across.

These are well made and seem good quality, but I accidentally ordered ones smaller than I intended, so be sure to check your dimensions. They'll make nice rugs though.
