The good: This unit fits at the main important points. The three mounting screws, and the air exit.The bad: The cover piece that protects the plug and cord is impossible to reinstall with this motor. Also, the power cord does not seat properly. It goes in enough to make an electrical connection, but it will not properly latch.If I knew this beforehand, I would have bought a different unit.

A previous reviewer pointed out that the power cord cover screws did not line up well on the new blower and I had a similar experience. This is due to the new motor housing having a slightly larger diameter. This is easily remedied by filing off a small flange on the plastic power cord cover to better match the circumference of the larger motor housing. Remove the material highlighted in red in the attached photo and the screw holes will line up. A very easy DIY replacement for your old noisy fan.
