Perfect fit for my vehicle. Simple to replace the originals but not that easy. Took a fair amount of force to snap them in to position to then put the clips on. No fault of the struts, just my experience. They've performed very well since installation.

This is for the Liftgate struts for a 2010 Toyota Highlander. Overall the install was not that difficult. It took longer than expected because I had trouble with the clips. That is, with the clips on, the strut cap wasn't popping onto the ball joint no matter hard I tried. That was until I figured that you take the clips off, install the struts, then slide the clips back on.But with this knowledge, as long as you have the gate secured during the install, it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. The gates rise as expected, even with a little more oomph than before so I have to lift the gate slowly so it don't just pop up.Overall, happy with this purchase as it really got us out of a bind.

My cousin who's a car buff recommended these for our 2012 Toyota Highlander. They fit perfectly - great replacements for our original rear door struts that had recently worn out. The price was great, delivery was as advertised... I totally recommend these.

This is about 2012 Highlander Hybrid Limited, but first, the OEM lift gate strut is not designed to be come out from ball stud. It is meant to be replaced with brackets as assembly and this one only come as gas strut. I was able to remove gas strut by dremel the connection but it wasn’t easy swap. Then, I was able to install this gas strut, but the tension is waaaaaay too strong. It fly open the lift gate to the extent that car would shake when it reached full open. Consequently, it is much harder to close the lift gate. I am now struggle to close the lift gate with one hand and auto lift gate no longer works since the tension is way too strong. The price is great but auto lift gate no longer work is absolute bummer so I will look for other brand or perhaps OEM.

These pistons work fine and are of decent quality. But I could not insert the fiddly locking pins and so returned the product. I found the similar product from other sellers with a snap on "u" metal lock was much easier to install.

Good product once you figure out the attachement.

Long story short, these struts fit perfectly, perform as the stock Toyota's, and were a breeze to install with just a screwdriver (to remove the old struts). Didn't buy the exact Toyota brand replacements because they are asking stupid money for them. These appear to be just a solid, behave the same, and cost a fraction of the price. These struts were for just the rear window of a 2012 Highlander. They work so well that now I'm considering changing out the struts for the main door. Yes, I will be looking to buy the next set from the same manufacturer.
