I would not recommend buying this device. It stopped working after just sixmonths of use, even though I only used it twice a week for blow-drying. It's definitely not worth the price.

Got this for a chanting device made in Asia which is 220V, its working perfect. Good part is it has both 110 and 220V output so I can use this as an extension too. Size is small so doesnt take much space and build is pretty stong.

Got this for my US Record Pi which needs stepping down from HK 220V to US 110V. Great device, built to last and will does the job very well.It's a heavy little unit but that inspires confidence. Very pleased with it.

Great stepup transformer as I bought this to run a equalizer that runs on 220 volts and this is perfect and is well made. I looked through the side vents and this has a toroidal transformer, Which is the most eficient type of transformers out there, I have zero issues with this transformer, And is well built and has a built in circuit breaker in the back of the unit, Which is awesome, just find out for sure what the voltage is in the country that you plan to use this, As you must select the input voltage on the back, Weather 120 volt circuit or a 220 volt circuit. Nothing bad that I could say about this transformer. And it has some weight to it also, As it is very rugged also.👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇨🇦

I actually had to order this twice as the first one had an issue with the 100V plug portion. There was a piece of bent metal that was hindering the plug to plug in.But, I decided to give it a try again and performed an exchange and all is well. I am going to chalk that one up to just a manufacturing defect which I understand does happen.Now that I have one that is fine, I will say this is a well built unit. It's heavy, and it works. I am using it for old vintage computers. I have tested a 240V European power supply from an Amiga and a MSX from Japan with 100V, and they work perfectly.500W was actually overkill for my needs, but it was cheaper to buy this with both types of connections available than buy something else.Very happy with the purchase!

This transformer works every day for 2 months. The load does not exceed 420 watts. It works properly.

Ideal for European visiting the us .For 30 usd you can get everything to work and will not have to re purchase thing ( tooth brush chager ….) however limited in the Amp ( wachout for blower or hair things that might need too stong amp) . Truely helpfull

Tengo varios aparatos que traje de Inglaterra y la verdad era un dolor de cabeza ver como conectarlos (tanto por los enchufes como por el voltaje). Este aparato es pequeño y versátil. No es muy ruidoso y permite cambiar de voltajes sin mayor problema. Lo tengo conectado a aparatos de sonido que consumen un buen nivel de electricidad y no ha presentado detalles de desempeño en entregar el voltaje adecuado. Es importante checar los niveles de voltaje de los aparatos para asegurarse que reciben el voltaje adecuado, de otra forma se pueden dañar.
