Waste of money, time, effort and window. This product does not work. It actually ruined the test window it was applied to. Had to scrape off the material to get the frosting film installed instead. very disappointing.

I decided to frost the glass of the doors that lead to our backyard. I took photos at different stages of the project to show how this product looks. And let me say, first, that it is easily removed with a razor blade. However, the more grid lines you have the more tedious it is going to be. I decided to tape around all of my door's edges just in case I wanted to remove it later on. I knew that scraping against the window edges would be a pain because I had to do it so many times as a kid. Plus, the clear glass around the painted center gives the appearance of the glass being beveled. And, it's much easier to tape glass rather than the door. Anyway, I think it looks pretty cool. The package comes with everything you need. However, I would recommend replacing the roller. It's too small and does not do a great job at concealing its own tracks and leaves streaks or whatever you call them. Also, the paint does not need to be stirred or mixed before use, which is unusual.I started by cleaning the glass and then taping it off. Painting is simple but the roller that comes with the kit works best when you roll back and forth in the direction where the handle pokes into the roller. If you roll in the other direction, you're more likely to leave stroke marks. Also, when you're rolling, you need to apply a little twisting force to keep both edges of the roller pressed firmly to the glass or your strokes will be uneven.Even though I very carefully taped the area off, paint still managed to creep under the tape and dry (see pics). So, I needed to use a paint scraper to clean up the edges of the lines. Unfortunately though, I wasn't paying attention very closely and I was using the scraper at too high of an angle and the scraper housing gouged the painted surface a bit. I tried to cover up the damage by repainting the nick marks with my finger. For the most part, I was able to cover up the small nicks and it looks much better now.I used 2 coats of paint and I think the doors look pretty good and I have enough paint left over to do another set of doors. 5 stars.

We used this on our bathroom window to provide privacy from close neighbors while still allowing light in. The product works great! We did have to use multiple coats to get the level of obscurity we wanted. I like that you can choose how thick to put it on and really customize where the coverage goes. Just make sure the clean the window really well of any residue first! My husband learnt that the hard way and had to redo some sections

It's very simple and useful, with great effect. When applied to the glass, it makes the inside completely invisible. It's simple, practical and very convenient.

Works very well coverage seems to be good but to get the effect of real privacy you have to at least coat three to four times on the downside a little pricey.

I bought it because of my HOA suddenly kept finding fault with the cling tint pieces I had been using for years. The problem with this product were there were no instructions, anywhere, to inform how to use it or what the included pieces were to be used for.
