Returning item. No instructions on how to put together. Had many screws & bolt all loose in the packaging. Very heavy for hanging along wooden fence and that doesn't include weight from whatever planter will be holding it.

Quality product holds heavy planters along a railing. Did add zip ties as an added safety feature from the hangers to the planters.

Assembly should have been 15 minutes-or so we thought. First of all, the video instructions wouldn't download. So I had to use the frazzled, torn up instruction sheet which wasn't very clear. In fact there were no instructions -just pictures that made little sense until you quasi figure out the engineering. Some of the parts pictured did not match what I received. It took me 30 minutes to put the 1st one together trying to figure out which picture to refer to. After much frustration, my husband joined in and totally rebuilt mine which now didn't look so cock-eyed! When he got to the 4th one, we ran out of parts to complete the last 2. Two hours into the assembly, we started all over again. By three hours, we had built all 6 to my satisfaction, even though the parts in my finished version do not match their sheet. At least the angles are 45 degrees now instead of 90! I put 2 on my cinder block wall and hung my ladder. SO far, they seem pretty strong assuming the screws don't come loose like they did during assembly. I will save the other 4 to hang plant pots. In the end, I was left with extra screws (always scary) and a bundle of plastic ties which I don't know what to do with since they aren't on the parts list or the instruction sheet. I only gave them a 4 star rating because it should not take an afternoon to build this product. Hope you have an easier go at it...

Prior to ordering I measured my railing and it according to the instructions should have worked. It did not. Their instructions could be made a little bit more clearly, but I figured out which part needed to be connected to get the desired width. To my disappointment they were way to loose, even though, according to their info should have been a great fit. It was a waste of my time, now having to take time to return them. Sad when you can not rely on the provided information.

Our window boxes needed new brackets. These were expensive and they are flimsy. The window boxes were 3/4 full with wet potting mix and not planted yet. They sagged on the brackets so 2 zip ties were used in the middle of each one. They just don't provide secure support plus holes were drilled and screws were added to the deck rails. There is plenty of room with the adjustable base to have a wider and heavier window box. It would be disastrous if they fell. I would not buy these again.
