I love these rubber brooms. We use them instead of a traditional broom at my veterinary clinic. I have been wanting one for home use and decided to grab this one when I saw it because of the cleaning cloth attachment feature. NOTE: This does not come with the promised cleaning cloth! That is not a big deal for me, I just went old school and grabbed a worn out dish towel that was destined for dusting rag duty and that work just fine. They are great on both floors and rugs.This rubber broom is made of heavy duty material (actually much better quality than the ones I have at the clinic) and came in separated parts that just screwed together. The head of the broom can be removed to be rinsed if it needs to be.These brooms do a great job collecting everything from feathers and fur to human hair that a regular broom or vacuum would miss or just send air borne. It goes easily under all but the lowest furniture.Add an old dish towel/cleaning cloth and you are all set to dry dust any non-carpeted floor or stairs.Give your carpet a once over with this broom after vacuuming, and you'll be amazed at the fur/hair left behind.This works best by pulling the broom towards you. It takes a little practice to learn the right angle and pressure which may vary with rug texture. I've even put this to work on my couch (with a clean broom head). You can actually hold the broom head in your hand for this if you want, and it works well.Give it a try and you'll wonder what you did without it.1 star off because he listing says a cleaning cloth is included but it was not.

Years ago I actually used a leaf rake to clean up after a shed fest by a Golden Retriever. So my lovely wife laughed at me when I told her I ordered a dog hair broom - like that’d really work. But oh my gosh, it does!There were no instructions, so I used my age and experience initiative and screwed the four handle sections together in their obvious order. They are right, it’s a longer handle than usually seen on sectional handles. I like that since I’m tall. I attached it to the rubber bristle broom head, thinking rubber bristles are kinda weird. But trying it on the flat workout pads and area rugs in the garage produced good results. Actually swept off the lint, sawdust and some tiny metal shavings from the carpet and pads in front of my workbench. Cool!So I tried it in the house. Good results there too. I dragged it over a couple areas where our dogs tend to lay (lie?) and it scratches up dog hair. But the better part was trying it on the kitchen floor and associated flat area rugs there. REALLY worked better than a standard broom collecting hair and miscellaneous tracked in dirt, especially off the runner. A typical broom just stirs up dog hair and is irritating. But this you can drag towards you and the mess stays in place.The thing I didn’t try was to sweep the mess into a dust pan, so not sure how that’ll go. I just used the stick vac to suck it up. I like that I can rinse this off in the sink, something that’s usually pointless with a regular broom.I suspect this will also work pretty well on the outside doormats, will see tomorrow in the daylight.Overall - ordered kind of as a joke, but now have something that actually does a better job than a normal broom.

I was really looking forward to using this rubber broom to pick up excessive dog hair from our carpets and hardwood floors.The broom looks really nice with a long enough handle, but while brushing our carpet to pile up dog hair it did not do a great job.Hard to push across the carpet and not much hair was pulled out or gathered.Disappointed because I was really looking forward to cleaning my floors with this.

So stoked when I found this rubber broom. I only have carpet in one room in my whole house, but between my long hair and my two kitties, the volume of hair it collects is disturbing. Vacuums just don't really seem to do a good job in picking up hair from this carpet, and I could waste an entire sticky-tape floor lint roller picking up the hair. This broom does a great job of pulling up the hair and clumping it to make it easier to pick up and/or vacuum.It is easy to put together and since each section just screws into the other it doesn't need any tools or worry about parts getting lost. I do find it helpful to sort of twist the handle a little when I am using it to keep it tight. It has a foam comfort grip part way down the pole and there is a hole on the tip to allow you to hang the broom if desired. It also has rubberized "clamps" to hold a cloth if you want to use it like a dust sweeper and there is also a squeegee on one side. It is easy to rinse off if it gets dirty and it is light weight enough to not take a lot of effort to use.I think the price point is very good for the quality of this product. You could possibly even replace your regular broom since you can use it the cloth clamps to pick up dust off hardwood floors.

I have long curly hair that seems to find its way all over the bathroom floor and tracks its way onto the carpet of the bedroom, even though I sweep it up frequently. There is always quite a bit of it caught in the rollers of our vacuum cleaner. I didn’t really know how to remedy the situation until I saw this floor brush designed for hair removal. Perfect solution! This is a fabulous rubber broom (or “carpet rake”) on a long, sturdy pole. There is a comfortable anti-slip handle on the pole which gives me a good grip so I can run this broom across the carpet. Sure enough, it does a great job collecting all that hair so I can dispose of it before it messes with the vacuum. There are even clips on the top of the broom that I can tuck a cloth into to wrap around the broom and make it more of a mop. It also has a built-in squeegee that can come in handy for floors or even windows. When I’m done cleaning, I can just rinse off the broom with the hose. This is a very thoughtfully designed, well-constructed, quality product. I’m extremely pleased with it and would highly recommend it!
