After following a youtube video. i was brought to this product. My Audi had the same problem a lot of people are having with the amp not giving you the possible for your MMI to work properly. therefor the guy suggested to loop it using this Optic Loop and the purpose and problem was solved using this.

I purchased a Joyeauto Carplay box for my 2009 porsche cayenne. The directions said to relocate the fiber optic, most, cable to the new harness. This made the t harness hard to install. I couldn't find a short extension so I bought this. I was able to disassemble them and make a short extension.

If you install an AFTERMARKET Stereo in a BMW and the unit can't accept your Car Code to match the head unit to the security system for the radio you need this cable.
