These work just fine. They're a Chinese knock off of the OEM connectors you find on Japanese motorcycles. They actually have two crimpers. One grabs the wire for a solid no-solder connection and the one slightly further back grabs the insulation to take pulling pressure off the copper wire itself. Like I said, they work fine. Not as heavy a brass as OEM but the connectors do the job. The plastic covers, like the connectors, aren't as robust or fit as tight as OEM but they will insulate. Two things: 1) put the insulator on FIRST, the crimp on the connector and 2) in order for these to crimp properly you should use a special crimping tool designed for this type of connector. It is designed to roll the tabs to center. Just using pliers or a standard tool and mashing them like the usual connectors you find in auto parts stores won't do the job. I bought mine from the Snap On guy back in the day. See if Amazon offers it. Don't expect waterproofing or constant connect/disconnect durability. But to make a solid, insulated connection they're good to go.
