I put this in my Epson 2045. The old bulb was a few years old, with a decent amount of hours on it. We use the projector mainly for movies, in a light controlled setting at night. I'm a bit of a film nerd, and since we only watch movies on a decent screen at night - I could easily detect if there were any problems with the colors or brightness on this bulb. There appears to be NO difference between this and OEM.I've got a few hours on this bulb currently - it is nice and crisp and bright and all color reproduction seems accurate.It took about 90 seconds to install, that's no exaggeration. 3 screws total.Would definitely recommend this item if it fits your projector and youre in need of a refresh.
