They're made of plastic. After wearing one for a few hours, it broke so they are really useless.

A couple of these broke right away (the rubber snapped in two). I was able to use a couple of other ones for about 3 months, but only on 1 pair of jeans. (They immediately came apart on a different pair of jeans). They have now ALL broken (the rubber pieces broken in two).Poor quality & strength. Too bad, because the metal buttons are actually decent shape/size/quality. The rubber just doesn’t hold up.I definitely do not recommend & I won’t be buying again.

I lost a little bit of weight last year and I bought pants a size smaller well I must’ve put the weight back on some of it and the pants wouldn’t button around the waist so I put these extensions on the buttons and they fit perfect. I’m really glad I bought them and they’re easy to put on and use.

Been trying out 4 kinds of waist extenders . . .found that the 1" works best right now. Thought I would need 2" (which I maybe use down the road). This extender comes in both sizes. I liked that the band has some stretch to it versus the ones with only fabric. They work really well and seem to be very sturdy. Worked on my jean pants & jean shorts . . .no slippage. Easy to button in it but taking button out requires a little extra work. Nothing pops out when you sit down or bend. More colors would be nice but I usually wear longer tees so they really don't show. This is a good product!

These work well and I was surprised at the great quality. I didn't realize when I ordered that there were different extender lengths but I'm happy there are for the sake of customization. One note is that if you wear button fly jeans, you may see the second button a bit if you use the longest extender. Not a fault of the product at all, but it's information.
