These are a good replacement for the original deadcats on the DJI mini2 mics. They definitely muffle wind and ambient noise so that audio comes out cleaner and we're able to catch just voices. It won't stand up to strong gusts, heavy traffic or other sound sounds, but it will put them in the background and allow you to isolate the vocals more effectively.

The DJI Mic Mini is a pretty nice device, and comes with a couple of dead cats* by default. Only minor nitpick about this is they come in two colors, the body color (black or white) and dark grey. If you're trying to blend in or hide this mic better, then having a different color windscreen can be useful. Compared to the DJI versions, these are very close. The mic pattern in the connector plastic is slightly different, and obviously the colors, but the performance would satisfy most folks who aren't hardcore audio nerds. In fact it showed no discernible difference between this and the DJI version in some brief sample recordings I tried. Sadly I did not try it in high winds to be certain. For most folks using a mic mini and wanting a different color dead kitten (it's a mini, so, not a cat...), these are a good option. Be sure to compare prices with the other colors!* I didn't come up with the term but it is a bit amusing. The original ones for mics way back whenever they coined it apparently had the look and feel of a feline post mortem.

Super windy this week, which was perfect conditions for testing these muffs. They fit the DJI mic well, very similar to the OEM muffs, just look a little different. Harshest wind sound was reduced, though you cutout some of the mic sensitivity as well.

Fit perfect, my original DJI ones that came with the mic got dirty outside so I swapped them out with these. I did not notice any sound recording quality difference between these and the original DJI ones.
