I put this blower motor into a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. In theory, it should be an easy job. One screw for the cover, unplug the motor, undo three more screws, remove the motor, and reverse the process. Maybe 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the moldings on this motor are not to the same specs that the Denso motor that I was replacing had. Specifically, the area of the electrical connector had to be "fine tuned" and "adjusted" in order to make it work. First, the electrical connector is too close to the body of the fan motor itself. That meant that the connector on the vehicle would not quite line up with the connector on the blower motor. I had to shave some of the connector housing on the vehicle in order to make it fit. Then, the area where the latch hooks on from the body connector to the blower motor connector was not correct. I had to shave it down with an exacto blade in order to actually get the connector to fit into the new blower motor housing. Troubleshooting that at least doubled the amount of time that it should have taken to put the motor into the vehicle. Maybe even tripled the amount of time. However, the motor is now in the 4Runner, and it does work, so I have to give it credit for that.
