It was either cracked before putting on or cracked as soon as the break was engaged. Also the brake cable housing was too long for the cable to be installed.

For one the cable is too long and then in the back side where you hook up drum break the metal piece is way to short says it’s 7 inches but measured at 5 and 3/8ths to where when you set it up breaks won’t move wouldn’t buy this just a waste of time.

I was pretty happy with this brake when it arrived but after about 3 rides the cable snapped on me while I was riding. I was going about 45 and tried to come to a stop and it snapped and I about laid down the bike. I would not recommend this

The quality isn't top of the line, but for the price I'm happy. Added this to a 2007 MB200 mini bike without any issues.
