Really works well with the tubes I have on my bicycle.

I never understood the Presta valve, and I think it's sad when you have to buy an adapter to revert back to the "old style" of Scrader valve just to air up your bike tires.I installed two of these on a bike with tiny 24X1" tires (yeah, I know they used presta valves because the rim is so thin) and I was then able to easily air up the tires.Fit great, works great, I'm happy.Recommended.

I picked these up because of a situation I ran into while on a bike ride. I came across a pair of other riders that had stopped on the trail. They asked if i had a bike pump, which I did not since I carry a CO2 inflator. I have Schrader valves on my bike and this person had a presta valve. I told them to do their best and they were able to get enough air in the tire somehow. I know that there are tire inflators that work on both types of valves, it just turns out that mine is meant for schrader valves. I now have these in my bike bag should I ever need to help another cyclist or if I should pick up another bike that has presta valves.
