The only downside, is having to blow it up. It is probably too much to ask to include a pump. I guess a small compressor or hand pump that most people have, would save our breath. We keep it in the van for our son to rest his feet on when he is in his wheelchair. It has been very helpful for that. The construction is more rugged than I expected. No real complaints.

This Ysjilide Inflatable Foot Rest Pillow is well-thought-out, well-engineered, really comfortable, and represents great value for money. I use this in my own home and have not traveled with it, but one can see how portable and comfortable this footrest pillow is if taken "on the road."This inflatable footrest is easy to inflate and easy to deflate. The way the valves are engineered and work is the reason why.I like the nap that's on the skin of the footrest. It makes the footrest feel like a short-nap suede or velvet. This makes it more like a piece of furniture rather than a stopgap measure or a fix.The fact that you can control the amount of air in it, hence, its firmness, gives you total control over your comfort. Also, you can choose to fill only one or two or three of the air compartments, which control the height of the footrest, making it an adjustable footrest.For less than $25 (its current price), you get easily adjustable comfort at home, at work, or on the road from a well-made, well-engineered inflatable footrest from Ysjilide.

I used it for 2 night flights ( for extra leg economy seats) and it’s a game changer. My height is 5’3 and I was literally fully laying down. My husband is 6’0 and he loved it too.

I’m a lot more comfortable now that I have this soft inflatable foot rest under my desk. I take my shoes off, push my old hard plastic foot rest aside, and now I can put my feet up on this velvety soft, supportive pillow! I can stretch my legs out straight under my desk and almost feel like I’m working in a recliner! It not only feels good under my feet, but also takes the pressure off my legs at the edge of my chair and even makes my back feel better to be in that position. My legs are less tired at the end of the day and my ankles are less swollen.I love that I can customize the height of this footrest to get it just right. There are two air intake valves that allow me to blow up a single section all by itself if I only want it short, or blow up the double section to make it medium high, or blow up both to make it three sections high. I found it is most comfortable when all three sections are filled about 80 percent full. That way, it has some give to it which makes it soft like a pillow. So comfy!Because of its shape, I can shift the position of my feet and legs often because there are multiple ways I can use this foot rest. If I set it down flat, I can use it like a traditional footrest and bend my knees to put my feet flat on it. If I set it on its side, I can stretch my legs out straight, but it’s not quite as high. But I like it best set all the way up tall. It’s like a little hassock to put my feet up on, but much softer!This foot rest seems to be made of pretty durable material and so far it hasn’t leaked any air at all, and I use it every day! The air intake valves are incredibly sturdy and have a one-way-valve insert that allows you to insert a pump attachment (not included) to blow it up, then pull the pump out without any air leaking back out. I also like its neutral color! This is a quality product that has made a difference in my working life!

UPDATE Feb 8, 2025: I received this footstool less than 2 months ago. Liked it well enough, used it maybe 3x/week in the evening watching tv. No rough play, just propped my feet on it. 3 days ago, one of the panels deflated and it won't hold air in it anymore. I'm so disappointed. It was comfy enough but now I'm left with 2/3 of a footstool. Darn!Changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars, reflecting the quality of the manufacturing. Maybe it was just this one footstool, but if I had paid for it and it's past the return window, I'd be upset.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been looking for a footstool (for home use) that makes my legs perfectly comfortable, at just the right height. Easier said than done, until now.The width of this pillow works great, and the height is adjustable by adding or removing enough air to make it the perfect height. I completely filled it at first, then let out air a couple of times until it was just right for me. Yay.It's super lightweight if you want to use it when traveling also. It looks nice even in my family room. Excellent!Although this is a very nice product for seniors, the valve becomes a challenge for us. I still reviewed this with 5 stars, but really give it half a star off for the difficult valve.To make it perfect, I would design an easier-to-use air valve. I don't have the strongest hands, so closing the valves was difficult, and then pushing the valve into the pillow was actually impossible for me. I have no-one to help me with this, so the valves will have to awkwardly stick out of the pillow.
