The first one leaked and shorted out. I purchased another and it seems to be sealed better.

The Starlink comes with a 50-60' cable which is way too long in many cases. When I set up my Starlink G2 dish antenna on the picnic table I often have the router real close to it.This cable makes that a lot easier and does not leave all the coils of cable. In other situations, I have the dish farther away and I use the cable that came with the dish. This 16' cable simply provides more options so you don't have a clutter of cable lying around. What's also nice is the dustproof and waterproof cable ends that come with it. When not in use, I put these caps on the ends and store it in my RV storage bin. This keeps the connectors nice and clean and the silicon seals nice and clean. This cable looks & feels just like the OEM cable. Fits the dish and router connectors snuggly. For such a specialized cable and protective end caps, this is a good buy.

I love my Starlink Gen2 system. I'm not so fond of the SPX connectors and the fixed length cables required to connect Dishy to the router. This set of adapters offers the option to use standard outdoor Cat6 Ethernet cable to connect the system, or, as in my case, the ability to use Power over Ethernet - PoE (adapter not included) to use a third-party router instead of the Starlink router. In my case I'm connecting Starlink to my TP-Link Deco WiFi mesh system. What I like…- IP68 weatherproof connections.- Ability to use Cat6 ethernet cable instead of fixed-length Starlink cable. Much easier to route and install.- Up to 175 feet using Starlink router, or 75 feet with PoE and 3rd-party router (not included).I didn't observe any shortcomings. The box included two adapters and two weatherproof sealing kits. (See pics) No installation or user guide was included. It would have been helpful to have one to show details of the two installation options.I hope this information was helpful to you.---This review is for:STARGEAR Starlink Cable SPX to RJ45 Adapters, Starlink Cable RJ45 Connectors for Starlink Gen 2 Dishy and Router Waterproof (2 Pack)

The high-quality construction and waterproof design ensure a stable and reliable connection, even in harsh weather conditions. The cable is compatible with both the actuated and standard versions of the Starlink Gen 2 satellite, making it a versatile option. The included end caps provide added protection against the elements. Highly recommended for anyone looking to replace their Starlink Gen 2 cable!

Love these StarGear cables. The have a couple dofferent sizes from short to long. We rarely need a 75 ft or 150 ft cable, like the OEM ones from Starlink. The StarGear cables are also much more durable than the Starlink cables. Also love that they come with protective covers for the cable ends.

This is very well made. It is a must have for mounting your starlink outdoors. complements the oem accessories very well and does not affect the performance or functioning of the starlink antenna in any way.
