For me this smooth metal “stone” is a reminder to stop & breathe …. one day at a time, one breath at a time. Reaching into my pocket, feeling it, it helps me center and stop the vortex of thoughts in my mind.It is like a larger coin, smoothly indented with the description “one day at a time” engraved on the other side. Very well made!All of us have certain things to cope with life & it's stresses. This small worry stone is perfect to hold onto and repeat “one day at a time” over and over until the storm has settled.I highly recommend this stone to anyone for self-use or as gift: people in recovery, people with anxiety, fidgeters, and anyone who needs a reminder during stressful times. It is nondenominational and should not be offensive to anyone!

I believe this to be a great message for a worry stone. “One day at a time” is a good cue. I still need a reminder, as I tend to project into the future as an unnecessary trained habit.I really like the casual handwriting engraving upon the shiny heart-shaped stone. Be prepared to see many reflections if you select the silver glossy version. I don’t mind the reflections. It looks great in person. I had prior been familiar with the “palm stone” but not necessarily the “thumb stone”. I must have missed this. It would be difficult for the photos online to depict that the slim stone is concave on one side and convex on the flip side.I had been expecting that the heart shape was rounded outward on both sides, but it is not. I guess the “dip” on the back side is typical of thumb stones. I have found this stone very comfortable and stable in my pocket. I recommend this inspirational offering.

As they say timing is everything... With that being said I am going through some things in my life and I ordered this little pocket stone and I just love what it says. One day at a time... It has brought me some comfort as I go about my day, I keep it in my pocket and when I have one of those tough moments I just pull it out or just feel the stone and it brings me comfort to remind myself that I Got This and one day at a time. Very well made and I recommend it as a gift for those that need a little reminder or comfort that you need.
