Your cart is empty.THE YUKI IS INSPIRED BY THE LEGEND OF THE KOI FISH THAT SWIMS UP THE WATERFALL AND BECOMES A DRAGON. Yuki means courage in Japanese. The Japanese saying "Koi No Taki-Nobori" ("Koi climbing the rapids") reflects the strong spirit of the Koi and is shown on embroideries and on the inside label. The gi features a Coolmax lining inside the jacked with a large group of colorful Koi. Coolmax is also used on the jacket skirt and on the gusset with a traditional Japanese geometrical pattern.

Size A0 worked perfectly for me. I am 5’3”, 125 pounds, usually wear size 4 on top, size 6/8 on the bottom. This gi is far superior in style, comfort, and fit over my old one. I love the drawstring cord which is very easy to tighten and loosen but doesn’t come untied while I’m rolling. It fit well before washing it, and also after washing it, so I don’t believe it shrunk very much. The details are also beautifully done, such as the koi print fabric inside.I spent a few months looking for my next gi to buy, and I’m so pleased with this one! Beginners can only wear white gis at my academy, so I do wish Senso had more white options. I would definitely buy another because of the fit. A fellow student also said they were going to jump on Amazon after class to buy one because they liked it so much.

This is so well made and the embroidery is lovely. I am 5'7" and 185lbs, so a bit fatty, but this thing fits like a glove. My personal trainer is 5'7" and 185lbs but quite muscular and it fits even better on him. For taller or heavier guys I would recommend A3 and upwards.

This Gi is beautiful and strong, I wish I knew about the smaller sizing if this Gi. Order a size larger if your my size. Out of the bag the sleeves are 3 inches from my wrist....not exceptable. The smallest A3 of the ten Gi's I've tried so far. Order one size up.

I had to send a couple gi's back for different reasons. Found this one on Amazon with a ten dollar off coupon so I thought I'd give it a chance. Pretty happy with this one. It looks nice. Pretty lightweight but yet still rugged feeling material. The fit is pretty good as well. I'm 5'7 and around 145lbs, the A1 works. I think this is one of the better gi's to go with if you're looking to buy one on Amazon. Would be tempted to buy Senso's Aizome gi as well if I didn't already order one to try from another brand. But will definitely consider Senso in the future.

Aesthetically this is a really sharp looking gi. I'm 6'4 225 and got the A4, I washed in hot water/dried the first 5 times I used it and it shrank down to fit me perfectly, it also stopped shrinking at that point. The kimono is extremely comfortable, and while the stitching around the cuffs specifically don't seem too robust, it has held up perfectly. Both the kimono and the pants are extremely comfortable, and are very light even when wet. Awesome gi so far, will update if anything changes.

This is a really nice gi! I emailed Senso about which size I should get given my height and weight: 5'6" (167.6 cm) and 136 lbs (61.7 kg). I'm a small human. They emailed me back very quickly and suggested that I get an A1 and wash in hot water and dry it. After washing/drying the Senso Yuki gi, the fit is perfect. Not too big, not too small. Slim. The ripstop pants are really nice but a tad short between the drawstring and the crotch. The trim, embroideries, and overall construction are top notch. I really like how light the uniform is too.I currently have several uniforms (5) but two of those are Senso Yuki (A1). I liked it enough that I bought another Yuki after testing out the fit with the first. I also have a Fuji Elemental (A2), Fuji All-around (A2), and Inverted Gear Undercover Panda (A1). All of the uniforms are washed in hot water and dried using high heat. This is still my favorite. The other uniforms are great too, in their own ways, but the Yuki probably has the best set of attributes for me.It's also great that Senso is a local bay area company.
