Fit like OEM carrier, Replaced destroyed limited slip carrier. Drive gears were ground up. Note: do not let limited slip go with damaged clutches replace or put in a locker before the rearend explodes like mine did. I had to drive 40 miles with it slipping on the axle drive gears and just made it home before it locked up completely. The attached photo is the original when I let the limited slip clutches go to long in a badly worn state. Had I replaced them I could have avoided this failure. Anyway, this is a great carrier to replace the LS with a lunchbox locker like a Spartan locker. So far so good after rebuild of rearend there is no noise and locker is working well with this carrier.

I had to buy a new carrier for the 8.8 in my f150 when I discovered that one of the spider gears seized to the center pin and it spun the pin thus destroying the factory carrier. This carrier seems equally well made when compared to my factory carrier and it fit well. My install didn’t even require re shimming the new carrier to get proper tolerances! Would definitely buy again if needed on future projects.
