Couldn't be happier with these. I ordered them here in dry southern California while we waited for a storm to arrive, knowing that I have to take a puppy out into the yard several times per night and not wanting to get my feet drenched waiting for him. They are as advertised, slip on quickly and easily, keep my feet warm and dry, and they're comfortable enough that I've found myself throwing them on for a quick run to the store or elsewhere. They run slightly small in my opinion - I'm realistically a 12 1/2 but nobody makes or sells those so I ordered these in a 13, and they're snug. Not uncomfortable for me, but if your feet run on the upper end of your size, order one size bigger than usual. My wife immediately adopted these so I had to order a pair in her size. I'm about to order a couple more because I end up wanting to wear them inside but they're supposed to be my "take the dog outside" shoes so I need another set as house slippers. Win/win, just keep buying these!

I use this shoe for winter walking. They have good grip. I add an extra insole that reflects heat.

I'll be writing this review as a hardcore user of minimalist/barefoot shoes (both out of preference and due to foot & back pain from regular shoes) who usually wears Xero's Hana without the insoles. Also worth noting I just moved from an area that gets absolutely zero snow to an area that gets a decent amount, so I'm a bit new to traversing the landscape. Finally, I'm naturally very heat-intolerant and thus don't get cold very easily. With those things in mind, here's my take!I usually wear a size 10 but it varies, so I went with a 10.5 to reduce the risk of having to send them back and be without appropriate shoes for another week or more. They fit just fine, but I probably would've been alright with the 10s also. They have velcro on both sides for ease, but the top is very soft and flexible which makes them slightly more difficult to put on all the same. There is a decent amount of room to tuck your pant legs in at the top.The sole is properly flat, and the insole can be removed for a thinner sole, but this will obviously lose you the fur on the soles. With the insoles out and a regular pair of socks, I could feel the cracks between the boards on my porch, branches and rocks under the snow, and even the snow itself compacting and crunching. Some feeling is lost for subtler textures but that's to be expected with a thicker tread. I think it's a good balance between practicality and tactile feedback. My traction was noticeably better in the snow, but ice is still an issue to a decent degree. You're probably okay on thinner patches of ice but the thicker ones will cause you to slide. This seems pretty reasonable though; there's only so much a rubber tread can do without studs or spikes or something. These shoes are thankfully (in my opinion lol) not as superheated as the description suggests, but they're decently warm. Outside in ~20F with a couple inches of snow on the ground, my feet were neutral temp for about 20 minutes in my regular socks. I started noticing the cold after that, but it wasn't bothersome. They seem to be reasonably water resistant and are high enough to keep your pants dry in 6 or so inches of snow.As for build quality... they don't feel super high quality, but I'd say they're good quality for the price point. They probably won't last more than two winters of moderate use, but that's alright. I don't have tons of money to go around right now and needed something right away, so these will work just fine for me.In conclusion, if you're looking for an affordable minimalist winter shoe, this should work pretty well for you if you temper your expectations. If you're looking for a more standard style winter shoe, expect to add your own insoles and warmer socks if you tend to get cold feet. It's a decent budget shoe!

I did NOT order a wide but this fits like a wide. My feet slid in an out as expected for an elastic ankle cinch, but my feet do not fit snug in these shoes thus do NOT keep my feet warm at all. I bought these because I wanted something I could easily slide on and off my feet to make my life easier. *glares at the sloppy slippers*These have a plain ole rubber sole. NO support. NO cushion. Basically SLIPPERS with an outside sole on them. Oh, and they squeak when you walk in them--no, they weren't wet. *glares again at the noisy, sloppy slippers*I am completely, and utterly, disappointed that these are labeled as "BOOTS" and not SLIPPERS. IF you are looking for slippers, then buy them. But if you're looking for WINTER "Boots", keep looking. My flats would keep my feet warmer and actually PROTECT my feet when I step on frozen gravel.Huge Waste of my hard earned money... Seriously, don't waste your money too. *steely glares at the wasted pile of money.*

These are my go-to boots for dog walking on cold days in the NE. The comfort and warmth per dollar spent is unmatched. Could you do better for a couple hundred dollars? Yes (you know those Canadians know warm clothes). Are they going to be waterproof if you step in a 2-inch-deep puddle? No. But for taking the dog out on a cold day, even in snow (if it's not too wet), these are super nice.

These booties fit fine and are cozy. However, the sole is extremely thin and flat. It feels like you’re walking on bare feet. You definitely require heavy-duty insoles !

These slippers are made of high quality materials, very nice looking, and comfortable to wear. They are light weight and fit as expected. I bought a pair of Men Size 9.5, which is my normal shoe size, and they fit me very well. However, I wish there is a size 10 for Men so that I can put an extra cushion/insole or wear double layer socks to keep the feet a litter warmer.
