I'd snapped two winch cables by not having a limit switch on my plow.Purchasing these switches was a godsend! It took just a little bit of figuring to design a small 3d printed box to hold it, with a tab that fits my Warn winch mounting plate. One bolt to attach it to the Can Am, and ten feet of wire to go back to the dashboard switch and voila'!! No more stressed cable. It shuts the winch off just before the plow reaches the frame.
