I ordered this 4 Pack of Yuzzy Garage Door Windows to use in a chicken coop were are building, rather than a garage door.I'm sure they would work great in a garage door. But, they could also be used in a shed, barn or like we'd using them for a chicken coop. The plexiglass is solid (not flimsy.) The vinyl frames are also sturdy with wide frames which should reduce any sort of drafts. The hardware is included for installation. We'll likely add a bead of silicone sealant when we install them in our building which is made of out plywood and lumber because the width is clearly designed for use in a garage door (and for that purpose the windows may fit very snugly.) It's a DIY kit regardless of where you install them, and I think they were designed to make installation Very simple and successful.I'm pleased with the way they were packaged - no issue with any sort of bumps or bruises during shipment. They will be very simple to install as they come with plenty of holes for the screws - and they all line up well.

I was honestly a bit skeptical at first, but after installing it, I can say I’m really happy with this garage door window kit. It’s surprisingly easy to install – the instructions are clear, and all the necessary parts were included, so I didn’t have to go searching for anything extra. The vinyl inserts are durable, and the UV-resistant resin glass is definitely a step up from what I had before. It lets in the right amount of light without making the space too bright or uncomfortable. What’s even better is that it helps with insulation, so I’ve noticed the temperature in the garage feels more stable, especially when it’s really hot outside. One thing I wasn’t expecting was how much more curb appeal my garage now has. The windows add a nice touch to the door, giving it a more polished and professional look. It’s crazy how something as simple as replacing the windows can change the whole vibe of the exterior. I live in an area that gets a lot of sun, and the UV protection really works. I’ve had windows in the past that would get warped or faded over time, but these don’t seem to be showing any signs of wear after a few months of use. Another thing I like is the sturdiness of the vinyl inserts. Some other kits I looked at had inserts that felt flimsy, but these are strong and solid, and I’m not worried about them cracking or breaking easily. However, I do want to point out that it might not be the best choice if you’re looking for a super high-end aesthetic. While it definitely looks great, the windows are still somewhat basic in terms of design, so don’t expect anything too fancy. Also, make sure your garage door is compatible with these inserts, as they fit best in standard-sized windows. I did need a second pair of hands to help me line everything up and secure it, so it’s probably a two-person job unless you're really handy. If you’re on the fence about whether it’s worth the money, I’d say it definitely is – it’s a solid investment for anyone wanting to give their garage a facelift without breaking the bank. It’s practical, easy to install, and looks great.

This set of windows is great. I have used them not on my garage door, but on my garage itself. I wanted a little window just to be able to view my driveway. Very simple to install. Just cut an opening about 1/8" bigger than the middle part of the window. Please don't use a chainsaw like they show on the instructions... Just saying.... Once that is cut out, they slide in, screw together and done. Simple as that. I can totally tell they would be nice on a garage door, but also perfect for visibility on a garage, shed, etc. Keep in mind they don't open, so they are just for light. But very versatile and handy. Glad to have them.

Until I ran across these, I had no idea that you could aftermarket add windows into your garage door. We've lived here for years and I've often thought that it would be great if I had some other source of natural light in the garage. If I have work to do out there in the winter, I don't want to have to keep the garage door open in order to get enough light.I saw these and ordered them, and they are going to work out perfectly. They are built well, and really the most difficult part of the install will be cutting the holes into our garage door. I'm going to get some help with that part, which is why I have not installed them yet. But really, it's just a matter of cutting a hole, and screwing some screws in, and it's done! If you've been looking for some windows like this, then I think you've found some good windows. I recommend.

These are perfect for a cheapskate like me who wants to buy a cheap door and put windows on it! This is exactly what I was hoping for, and so far, so good.

I have been wanting these for a very long time, years. The panes in these when does our crystal clear, and I love the framing of them. After producing the installation directions, they seem incredibly easy to install as well. I have not, as yet, been able to install them due to the horrible weather we've been having, but intend to do so soon. There are any difficulties with installation, I will share that here. These windows are solid and seemingly durable, and I expect them to last for the remaining lifetime of the house, which will hopefully be a century or more at a minimum. Yes, I am that confident in these windows. I would absolutely order these again!

Plexiglass is rather thin,The plastic is also rather thinTwo bezes and the plexi in the middle. The plexi will most likely yellow over time, the frame has no sealing or any thing to help keep air out of the garage door. The thickness seems to be for a insulated door vs a non insulated unit.
