During the winter we have one of those small oil radiator heaters in our bathroom. It consumes 750 watts of power or 7.5amps. The on/off switch failed and I discovered that it was only rated at 9amps. I replaced it with this one which is rated at 16 and I am sure it is the right answer to saving this very useful heater. An old engineers rule, 100% safety factor when possible and I am an old engineer.
