Microsoft changed screen suppliers towards the end of the Surface Pro 4 production run.Most use the Samsung display (version 1) which a 25 pin connector while version 2 used an LG display and a 32 pin connector. The two types are not cross compatible and this ribbon will only fix the newer style display.Quality and service was fine but the description is wrong.
