The remote doesn’t work. I’ve tried the CR2025 battery the directions say to use. Nothing. I tried the CR2023 a couple of people in reviews said to use. Sporadic, then nothing. Useless without a remote. I chose this one because it had a mad. It’s a cheap piece of crap. This one is going back. I’ll get another brand.

I bought this machine for my mother. She is going through chemotherapy and was restricted on her movement. This machine did the trick. She was able to work her legs for a few moments a day. Now she has increased her time to 39 minutes, twice a day. The machine is easy to use, high quality, quiet and functions perfectly.

This product is fantastic! It's a super easy and effective way to stay active while sitting, whether you're working or chilling. Its compact, quiet design gives you a smooth, low-impact workout, and you can adjust the resistance to suit your fitness level. Enter the elliptical—this thing is a game changer! It's so convenient. I just slide it under my desk at work, and instead of being stuck sitting all day, I can get some steps in while working. Honestly, it’s way easier than I expected. I can answer emails, join video calls, and still feel like I’m doing something good for my body. The best part is how simple it is to use—I don’t need to carve out extra time for a workout, I just fit it into my day. With features like a digital display and remote connectivity, tracking progress is super easy. It might slip around on some surfaces and doesn’t give you the full motion of a regular elliptical, but it’s still a great way to add more movement to a mostly sedentary routine.

On the positive side, the device comes almost fully assembled. You just need to attach the pedal straps (if you want)The unit is not heavy and not very bulky, it fits well under a desk.My main issue with the functionality has to do with what the machine does. It just rotates the pedals at different speeds, I guess, it is better than nothing but your only effort is letting your legs move on top of the pedals.I would say, I did not feel the motor and pedals are able to tolerate much weight, you are not supposed to stand up, you are supposed to use the device on a seated position but even the weight of the leg/foot seems to slow down the pedal rotation.Be aware: A really annoying thing, the remote control comes with the plastic film to prevent the battery from making contact with the terminals. As expected I removed the film and tried to use the remote control with no response from the device. After wasting my time trying the control for several minutes, I checked the remote control to find out that it comes without battery (WHAT???). It just has the plastic film for show. Luckily, I had the correct battery size (CR2032) at home and I was able to operate the machine.

I love this under-desk elliptical! It's the perfect way to get some exercise while I'm working at my computer. It's super quiet, so I don't have to worry about disturbing my coworkers, and it's really easy to use. I can adjust the resistance to get a good workout, and it's small enough to fit under my desk without taking up too much space. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay active while they work!

Got this to allow me to sit at my computer and perhaps do some toning on my calves and thighs. We'll see about that, but here is the first impression.One. It does come assembled...mostly. You will need to put in a power cord and run the included bands with velcro around the step pads. It also has a sheet of anti-slip rubber matting if you are placing a hardwood or other solid surface floor. Probably note needed if you have a carpet.Two. The remote does indeed *NOT* come with a freaking battery. I hadn't seen that when I ordered, and its a dumb decision on their part considering they included a plastic pull tab in the remote, just like if they had included the battery! I was convinced the remote was dead till I pried the battery slot tray out.....which is a LOT harder than that sounds. One broken thumbnail later, I discovered the missing sport for a battery. I luckily had a spare CR2032 handy and it worked fine. There is some odd hole at the bottom of the remote, and at first I thought that was where the IR emitter was. I finally found that its at the end you would expect and was able to use the remote with the machine. Since this was the entire reason I was interested, this process did cost them a star for not including the battery with the unit make it truly plug and play out of the box.In use I discovered that the ad copy pictures show every model seated at a non-rolling chair. There is a good reason for that, you will end up sliding backwards otherwise as you try to get into the rhythm of the machine. I also had not yet put on the foot bands, so that may help on my next workout.The noise level is indeed quiet, but it is by no means "silent" which the ad copy seems to imply. You are not going to impede conversations or television etc., but words mean things and if you toss "silent" around then it better be actually silent.The remote stows in the front of the machine for storage between use, but I also noted that this is a power leech - even if you select to power down the unit the red LED lights stay active. There is no need to keep this on mains power 24/7 so power *off* should be power *off*.This also comes with a couple of hand grips similar to ski grips on bungee cords that you could clip to the foot bands if you want to have a big of resistance training in your arms at the same time. I'm personally not going to do that, as its just a gimmicky addition to a machine that does what its supposed to for your legs.All quibbles aside, it seems like it has a lot of potential with multiple speeds, opposable direction, and preprogrammed and free use modes to allow for quite a bit of use before it turns into another tech gadget/sports equipment that hides under the desk/bed/closet. Can recommend with the proviso that you have button batteries on hand or delivered with it.
