The scanner works good. It randomly stops scanning some time. You just have to unplug and plug it back in. The service we great from the sellers.

I was skeptical about buying refurbished, but this barcode scanner performs flawlessly! Fast, accurate, and easy to set up. Saved me a bundle compared to buying new. Highly recommend!

I wasn’t able to reprogram these. Contacted the manufacturer and they said they are aftermarket and only made to work for Walmart. So they scan with a funky coding and you can’t reset it or change it.

I first plugged it in and it scanned something, my POS would say item not found. I kept rescanning it and it still wouldn't work. I opened up notepad and each time I scan a barcode it adds a random letter every time in front o the code.So, I contacted the seller and they didn't get back. When I tried it again with a manual I found online (one is not included) it wouldn't even scan or turn on. It would beep 3 times but the red scan light wouldn't come up. Don't buy this scanner, it's not properly refurbished.

We use a lot of different barcode scanners and there are a variety of 'formats' -- e.g. ones that are hand-held and rest in a cradle, ones that are hands-free and sit on the countertop, etc. This one is not cordless, which is ok, but it's sort of the best of both hand-held and hands-free.Instead of being the typical 'box' style that sits on the countertop, or even the style that can auto-scan and sits in a cradle/stand, this one is all-in-one and can both sit on the countertop, or can be grabbed and used as a hand-held scanner -- e.g. to reach over the counter to scan a larger item.The key things I like about this scanner:• The price• The feel -- feels very sturdy/professional and not flimsy or cheap• Versatile configuration @ hand-held or hands-free• It looks pretty cool• It scans all major barcodes (although I did have to manually program it for PDF417 using the included barcode sheet)• It's stable/reliable• It scans 'hard to read' barcodes on tags/labels quickly and easilyThe only thing I don't like about this scanner (but something I'm finding isn't unique to this scanner), is the speed at which it can parse and ultimately complete the scan of a PDF417 barcode. I know there's a lot of info. in that barcode and in a unique format, but PDF417 barcodes seem to take quite a long time to arrive from the moment of scanning, to the string of characters actually arriving on the system.Great scanner though and we'll buy more + recommend these to customers.
