I purchased this before my knee surgery to alleviate the problem of extracting a weak leg from the weight of bed covers. Over a year later, I am still using it, as I like avoiding the leg struggles from trying to turn over in the middle of the night. I initially thought that the lowest setting could have been a bit closer toward the mattress, but I have easily grown accustomed to the height. As the thickness of new mattresses seem to continually grow bigger, this product will keep up, even if fitted sheets struggle to do the same.

This thing is so tall I have trouble laying flat in bed and watching television. Something not as tall and narrow would be perfect for me. Less height but enough to allow foot room and more width to spread your feet apart would be nice. I sleep flat on my back and spin (in the same spot) throughout the night. You can adjust the height but I have it in the lowest settings. I did not find this too difficult to put together. I did it b looking at the picture. After a while, I stopped using it and used the back of my chair, at the end of the bed like I’ve been doing.
