I needed a laptop desk that had an edge all the way around for someone who was nervous to use their laptop on a traditional one because of the sliding around that can happen. She wanted to make sure her wireless mouse and laptop were really secure if she went to readjust on the couch or in bed and this worked perfectly. Its nice and sturdy and she can use it comfortably with the legs down or up and away.

The legs are to floppy. Tray is heavy and awkward to carry. A little slippery for dishes but add a rubber mat which helped. Use for lap in front of TV to eat. It is big and roomy to hold dinner plate and salad bowl.

This product is very functional and lightweight. The legs fold easily so it can be stowed away. It's pretty and sturdy so that a meal can be eaten in bed. My only slight quibble is that the bottom of the legs were slightly rough, and was concerned they might snag fabrics. A quick solution was putting down a towel before serving with it. I would highly recommend this product though. It was inexpensive and beautiful.

There are so many similar products to choose from and pictures can be deceiving. According to reviews other ‘bamboo’ trays have cheap laminate inserts. This on does not. The workmanship and materials are very high quality. The tray is very functional and sturdy for its size. It’s perfect for the occasional dinner or laptop work on the couch. It’s extremely light so it can function as a serving tray as well. Great purchase. Highly recommended. I’m planning to buy more for the rest of the family.

Bought this tray mainly to serve meals to elderly father in bed, works great for this purpose. It's sturdy so don't have to worry about tipping. Easy storage, folds up and fits between my fridge and lower cupboard. Tray is on smaller side so won't accommodate laptop.

This was ordered for a disabled person and it has been a great help at mealtime. Sturdy, legs easy to fold and unfold, good height and tray size and attractive. Highly recommend. First one ordered had a flaw and seller responded immediately and replaced the bed tray in just a few days. Very positive experience.

This table tray is great. I have been using it for three months and it’s sturdy, stable, and folds and unfolds easily. The finish is smooth, no rough spots or splinters. The one I received is solid wood and decently constructed. It’s lightweight, but not flimsy. I don’t eat on it, so it’s still like brand new. I imagine that spilled food or drink might stain the wood, but I’m sure it could be cleaned easily, similar to a wooden chopping board. I only use it to support my ipad or book for reading at an optimal level while sitting in my recliner. It’s been perfect for that. It’s a very worthwhile purchase.
