The Zipelo ice scraper works well for my needs. I live on the west coast and we don’t get snow but in the winter time there can definitely be stretches where our windows will frost over. This scraper works perfectly to get rid of it. It has a nice foam handle that’s easy to grip and doesn’t get freezing cold when left in the car. At just under 9 inches long, it’s easy to slide under the seat, put in a drawer or hang from a hook. It sturdy and very affordable. I would definitely recommend it for milder climates like mine.

Not a lot to say about the zipelo Car Ice Scraper other than it works as expected - it helps clear away ice from my car's windshield.I've had other ice scrapers in the same price range that seemed similar but felt a bit more durable. I've only used this zipelo ice scraper a few times (since it's been a mild winter so far this year), but it's worked fine and hasn't shown any signs of durability issue.

This is a commodity plastic windshield scraper. The foam handle is nice and it's of adequate length. Unfortunately, it is molded with a bit of a curve in the blade that creates a gap when scraping the windshield. Perhaps mine warped a bit when it was pulled from the mold but there's definitely a 1-1.5 mm even arcing gap in the middle. This results in only scraping on the outer portions and leaving unscraped frost tracks right down the middle. I have been driving since the 1980s and owned dozens of scrapers over that time, so I am reasonably experienced and competent in their use.I tried it on both my truck and my daughter's car and it left frost patches down the middle. Is it better than a credit card? Yes. Can you get a better performing $5 scraper at the auto parts store check stand? Yep.

The Zipelo ice scraper will definitely work in a pinch. It's a little flimsy so I wouldn't necessarily use it as my everyday winter scraper, but I do like that it fits nicely right in the center console of my suv. If you are looking for something to get you by in an unexpected ice situation or if your climate is a little milder that what we have in the Midwest, then this scraper may be just right for you. I recommend it for that purpose, just not as a primary scraper for our big midwestern snow and ice storms.

I live in the northeast and we've reached the time of year when windshields are frosted every morning. I have a long ice scraper for thick ice, but sometimes the little one is all you need for the light frost. This scraper is the right price at under $5. It has a nice foam layer on the handle, so it's comfortable in the hand. It is solid enough for a light to medium frost, but it probably would snap in half if you tried to use it on a thicker layer of ice.I like that there is a hole on the handle end, so it can be hung from a nail on the wall of the garage all summer, so you can find it again next season.Overall, a good item for those early winter days.

This was a bit smaller and more flexible than I expected. The small size is not really a problem since it gives you more control (but also takes a bit longer to scrape an area). But the flex is a bit troubling since it feels like it may eventually snap in half when I am scraping heavy ice. I live in northern New England and we get alot of snow and ice and it can be pretty heavy -- I am concerned it will hold up and be there when I need it so I feel I will have to have some other backup device to go along with this in case it snaps. On the positive size, the edge is nice and flat and it should remove ice well. The foam handle is more comfortable and soft than a hard plastic handle. I notice that the price has now dropped below $5 whereas it was $7 when I ordered it so perhaps it is more reasonably priced now. This may be a good option for someone further south where the ice tends to be lighter and less common.
