These compression socks are much easier to put on than the ones without the zipper. It's ingenious to increase the size and make them of fabric that's easy to get on, and as your leg size diminishes the zipper goes up easily. When you first put them on if your legs are swollen, you can't zip them up. But as your legs adjust you can. If you wear another compression sock and take them off, shower and put these socks on, they zip up easily. i really like them. They are expensive.

Bought these compression socks and the zipper broke within the first week. Ordered the correct size according to the chart and the zippers still broke. Was hard for me to pull up my leg, left imprints on my legs from being too tight even though I ordered the size it told me to.

I have average, athletic calves. These compression socks are great for days where I am in my feet a lot since they reduce fatigue. The zipper is a little challenging to use and requires two hands, one to hold the seams together and the other to pull. When it is fully zipped I find that it is too tight at the top and leaves a big indentation in my leg. If I zip these, I usually leave the last 2-3 inches open to prevent this. Even so, I end up with a big indentation along my leg the whole length of the zipper. In that way, I prefer traditional style socks, even at maximum compression, because I don’t have strange marks upon removal.

I am really happy with the lalapapa compression socks/stockings. I suffer from early onset varicose veins in my legs, they are getting worse and it’s hard to deal with considering my young age. I began getting them in my pregnancies and with my last one, it didn’t go away after birth…it progressively has only gotten worse. These were recommended to use at that time but I didn’t end up getting any. I am on my feet pretty much all day and as a result of the strain and damage, I deal with a significant amount of pain at certain times, other times aches, fatigue and cramping. As soon as I received these compression socks I gave them a try. Included is a cute little zippered bag to store the socks in, it’s of good quality and is a nice touch! They were well-packaged and all the necessary tips were included. Start out with the zipper lower, then medium, then all the way zippered, etc. it’s recommend to ease your way into it and not to wear more than 8 hours at a time. I recommend that when first starting you only wear for a few hours - gradually working your way up to longer periods of time. Since my varicose veins and pain is really bad, I started out with it zipped a little more than half way and then lowered it after about an hour to halfway. These socks worked AMAZING! I felt NO PAIN OR ACHES AT ALL IN MY LEGS WHEN WEARING. Even better, after a few days of wearing, I actually noticed an improvement in my legs and aches even when I wasn’t wearing these. If you go a few days or longer without using these, the pain and aches will return though…so I recommend regular use and skipping a day or two when needed.I got my usual size based on the size chart. Size S/M. They fit and are true to size. Being compression socks, it takes only a small bit of effort to get on. Follow the instructions and it’s a breeze. It took me 2 tries to get it right and done efficiently going forward. *fold the sock down first and then prepare the socks to push your toes in, they will slide on with ease when you do it according to the directions which describe it better than I am. 😅*The quality of the socks are good, they were comfortable and easy to use as well. These go nicely with a pair of black leggings in fall or winter, they blend well. Otherwise, they can be worn under any pants that aren’t skin tight so they don’t cause discomfort or look funny. If you don’t mind wearing these out with shorts, that’s a personal choice! Otherwise, for the warmer weather, I’d recommend wearing these at home as often as possible. During the colder months you’ll be able to wear these out under clothes without issue.I am thrilled to have gotten a great pair of compression socks on my first try! I am really pleased with the performance and overall quality so far. I will come back and update as needed should anything change or any new insights become available. I HIGHLY recommend you give these a try if you are struggling with varicose veins or pain in your legs (behind your knees and the surrounding areas - calf and lower thighs. I have long legs so I believe this has only exacerbated my issue!) Great product.

I have issues with lymph edema in my left calf, it is lightyears better than it had to be and I had to get some made especially for my leg. Now I can purchase them like this. I chose the zippered ones to see how they work out, these are great. The zipper slides smoothly and the extra fabric protects my skin and would allow for me to wear them unzipped if my leg swells. There is enough give to let them zip well but enough stability to provide the level of compression I need. I am hoping these will help my leg regain some of its elasticity and reduce the abundance of slack in my skin. If nothing else it will give it a more firm appearance beneath my slacks and that is awesome. I highly recommend these if you suffer from lymph or just mild swelling, I think these will help you. I wore them most of the morning, no uncomfortable tightness developed as I was up and about doing things.

I can recommend based on how well these seem to be made, and how comfortable they feel, but I can't really say if they work. Because, at the time I ordered them and am writing this, there didn't appear to be a size guide anywhere in the description - and that matters a lot for compression stockings. So I ordered a size based on the medical version compression stockings I already use, and unfortunately they're way too big.A sizing/measurement guide WAS included in the box, but by that time it did me no good except to verify that I'd ordered a too large size. If I could have gotten the correct size, I probably would give 5 stars, but failing to include something that important in the description is problematic. (Maybe I was blind but I looked everywhere in the description before ordering.)So I'm very disappointed that I can't accurately review - or use - this product.I will say that it's a very nice touch to include a pretty cloth storage bag with them.
