First one that arrived did not work. I emailed Amazon and they sent me a replacement straight away.

This is a great sword for cosplay. The blade lights up really well at night and is very sturdy. You do have to put it together when you get it and some of the pieces were difficult to get in place. Overall I'm very happy with it it's not too heavy or too light. It was money well spent.

Looks decent and serves it's purpose, the light has never worked more than the first 20 min of the first day my son had it. Doesn't charge no matter how many times I've tried.

Das zusammen bauen ist nicht so einfach aber das Schwert ist perfekt funktioniert und sieht gut aus im hellen und fantastisch im Dunkeln

EDIT: 1.5 MONTH REVIEW BELOWThe appearance and feeling of this sword is amazing. It looks almost perfect like Muichiro's.I had to assemble it, which was done in about 10 minutes thanks to the helpful instructions. I was scared it wouldn't work according to the other reviews, but it was perfect. However, make sure you install the hand guard correctly because it can be installed backwards & upside down. Use the cut outs.As for the materials, the blade is made half out of painted wood, and then plastic along the blade where to glows. The handle appears to be made out of plastic and wrapped with shoelace that is glued in place. The plastic seems substantial and durable. Does not smudge fingerprints or scratch easily.The size is perfect, as well as the weight. It doesn't feel like it would break through normal use and I easily see this lasting for a good 3 years, or maybe the battery might die hopefully not.Some cons:- the blade isn't perfectly straight. It's mostly straight- some colors don't match the show perfectly, like just wrong color in some areas. Easy enough to paint and fix- THE BLADE IN THE SHOW IS TURQUOISE/STEEL BLUE. This one is Half black half gray. The glow of the sword is basically perfectly. It's LED white with a very very slight tinge of blue. But the black wood of the blade will have to be painted steel/gray/turquoise. However, that means I will have to paint over the Kanji on the blade, and repaint it myself. I will not paint over the plastic part that glows because it paint will dampen the light and be splotchy.UPDATE:I have since repainted this sword. I wanted to talk about the battery life. I get about 8-20 minutes of BRIGHT life out of this sword. After that time, it becomes dim. Then eventually doesn't then back on until you charge it. It's a very beautiful sword and I get asked about it a lot, but I feel that the battery life quite frankly SUCKS MAJORLY. It's made worse by the fact that sword is sensitive and randomly turns on from simple brushes. So when it's in my sheath, I don't even realize it's slowly wasting its charge.This sword's battery doesn't survive a convention day, even when I make sure to only turn the light on for pictures. Luckily, it can be charged easily to give you just enough power to be bright & last for photosmAlso, the blade guard is a little loose, despite me installing the sword together correctly. Not an issue, but I wish it was stable and didn't move.The belt and sword holder turned out surprisingly useful. The belt can cut and seen easily to make it shorter. The sword holder is very easy to use, holds the sword securely.However, the scabbard Trim & Gasket fell off while I was pulling the sword out. Pictures attached. I will have to reglue it. The gasket is a silicone piece, that leaves black marks/flakes on the sword.4/5 stars still. Cool sword, but doesn't live up to manufacturers claims. And it the sheath broke.I was doing sword spins when it broke.

The sword is okay if you just want to display it and never play with it. My sons are huge demon slayer fans and for Xmas I wanted to get them each a sword. I bought the rengoku sword and my brother bought the inosuke one for my other son. The swords and great and assembly was fine however the rengoku one doesn’t want to recharge. Out of the box it had charge and as soon as it died a couple days later we couldn’t get it to charge with the included cable. I bought a new cable and charging block and it still didn’t want to charge even though the red light was on (indicating a charge) and had it plugged in for over 24 hours, the sword would. It turn back on. Mind you they never banged the swords in anything just air swinging them. So idk if I can recommend.

I bought this to go with my grandsons Halloween costume he loves it it is very durable the sword glows it looks awesome and it is a great value for it’s money

The Giyu sword looks great with minimal flaws and the light-up function works great! Don't use a low-powered charger, I recommend using a fast charging port for your phone to charge the prop as it charges better. I charged it for 2 hours and it worked great after tapping the bottom twice. The materials are mostly plastic and wood and are fairly lightweight, great for carrying around a con. I highly recommend this for any demon slayer fan and cosplayer!

The first one that I was sent came to me disassembled and I had to put it together. I followed the directions exactly, plugged it in for an hour, and no matter what I did, it didn't work. I was so disappointed, but my husband convinced me to give them another chance and exchange it for another, and I'm so glad he did!The replacement came pre assembled, so it was ready to go, and before I even plugged it in, I decided to try it out, and it lit right up. It's so cool looking, well made, solid, but lightweight so it'll be easy to carry or wear around a convention for a few days.

My 12 year old really wanted this one, and was so excited that I let him open it 2 days early before Christmas. Turned from major excitement to utter disappointment when it wouldn't even light up. Now I have to hassle around with returning it and waiting for a refund, and whether or not it's worth ordering again. Wish I knew this product would work. It is a fun product and would be worth it if it did what it was supposed to. Will change my review if the company makes it right.

Me encantó. Está super bien hecha, ningún problema si sigues el instructivo, fue la sensación. Lo único es que, al encenderse de la parte donde carga, pues a veces uno ni cuenta se da cuando la prende.
