My garage security camera is wireless and needed me to get out the step stool and take it inside to charge on a near monthly basis. I installed this solar panel when the camera battery was around 20% left. This gets afternoon desert sunshine on the west side of the house, partially shadowed by the eves. It's been charging the camera during that time, adding an average of 4% net power charge per day. The camera has a power use graph in the application that goes week to week on a rolling basis. Over the past 2 weeks I documented the graph and then combined the two weeks in one photograph, which proves the camera has been banking the gains I referenced. As of this final writing, the camera has been 100% for days, and hasn't dropped below it. It's so convenient and cool, very much worth the time to install, which wasn't difficult using a drill and screwdriver. It worked out so well that I'll be getting more for my other cameras, and I recommend it for anyone in circumstances similar to mine. Best regards and thank you.

Extra power for my solar camera. I'm using this for a secondary position for my solar security camera. When the season changes sometimes that original placement no longer works. With this I don't have to move the cam, just move the back up panel.

This little solar panel is sturdy. Can charge a battery. Is easy to install and use. Type Cusb connection. Can be used as a solar panel for a variety of USB C type devices and functionality.

Good product at half the price of the mfr panel - and black instead of white is great if your house is dark colored.

First off, I want to just take a moment to appreciate a product that doesn't wildly overstate its power claims. 4W is very low, and believably so. Those old school super slow chargers were generally at most 5W, think those small tiny old apple charger squares. So this is primarily going to be used to very slowly charge a battery, which in turn will then be supplying the actual load. Though I doubt anyone was expecting any different.I bought this to tap off the power myself. I haven't fully finished the project, but the panel works and is fairly efficient. It's small and sensitive to the incident angle of the sun -again all panels are, but it's particularly noticeable due to the low power rating-. It's unobtrusive as well and comes with mounting hardware should you so decide to mount it outside.All in all for the price this is an extremely good value, especially if all you need is /a/ solar panel capable of charging

I got a Birdfy birdhouse for Christmas. It came with a 3 watt solar panel that connects to the internal wireless radio in the birdhouse to keep it and the cameras charged. The solar panel that came with the birdhouse never worked. In full sun the app would show the birdhouse electronics were charging, but they never actually charged up the devices. I had to keep going out and plugging in a rechargeable battery pack. That isn't real conducive to attracting birds.So I bought a 5 watt solar panel and that one didn't work either. But to be fair that one had a microUSB connector on it and my birdhouse has a USB-C. I used an adapter to change microUSB to USB-C and perhaps that adapter was the issue. But bottom line is the 5 watt panel didn't work.Then I got this one and wow what a difference. I now get 100% charge every single day. Even overcast days it will charge my birdhouse. Of course it's mounted outside so it's subject to rain, which we've had plenty, but the rain hasn't caused an issue.For anyone who has a Birdfy birdhouse who is unhappy with the performance of the solar panel that comes with the birdhouse, get this one. It works great for me. Much bigger than the one that came with the birdhouse but I don't care about that.
