While the pool heater was operating, a power outage occurred. On restart, the pool heater failed. Tracing the failure, one of two Hi-Limit safety switches was stuck open, probably due to being overheated when water stopped circulating through the heater without a cool down period. Replacing both fixed the problem. This is one of the ones that was replaced. Problem solved.

Pool heater would not work. Pool service was going to charge me $700 for a replacement. Googled the problem and found a large amount of detailed information on how to fix it yourself. Once I identified the issue and the correct part I ordered teh switch. Easy to install and immediately fixed the issue.

Saved my pool heater until the blower died... The right part for my Jandy heater LX. This is the 135°C high-limit switch, the one that's hidden under the water intake.
