My pool heater would shut off after 10 seconds and say ignition control error. I replaced the flame sensor with this one and it works perfectly. I appreciated the material to keep the flame box airtight. Heater is a Jandy LXi.

Great price for this part. Heat sensors require periodic replacement. They are all the same so price is what is important.

As advertised, this Zodiac product R0458600, includes everything needed to replace your Jandy Lxi pool/spa heater flame sensor. This includes the flame sensor part itself, replacement screws for the fire chamber cover, and the one smaller screw that holds the sensor in place. It also includes replacement insulation tape for putting the cover back on.Probably most repairs could be done by just using steel wool or fine sandpaper on the old sensor, if you're going to take the time to pull the old one you might as well replace it with a new one. And you'll get new insulation tape in the bargain.
