Great Bible with maps and notes on most of the characters. Great Bible. Love it will refer seniors to the big print and gives a great information about the disciplines and places that the story took places. I love my Bible

My husband and I have been wanting to get bibles for us and our teens to read together and I stumbled upon this life application bible. The large text format is a must, but in result the book itself is large and heavy but I don’t have an issue since it’s kept on the side table. I love how it breaks down every single scripture at the bottom of each page. The Bible can be confusing at times but this feature helps interpret it so well. After each family bible study, we reach for the glossary in the back to search for real topics that we may relate to in life (I.e parenting, relationships, etc.) and it gives you all of the scriptures that talk about it. The glossary is my favorite. Literally anything and everything you can think of is back there so whenever I’m feeling off or down about something, I’ll look it up to find a scripture to help ease me. Just get this bible! You won’t regret

I have the first version of this bible and love it. My brother asked for a bible and I bought him this. First, it is actually large print (so many say large but are not), Second, it has expanded notes, cross references and it the best study bible I have found. It is on the heavy side, but understandable considering how much it contains. I highly recommend this bible for anyone wanting to read, study or just understand the bible. My brother called me to tell me how happy he is with this bible and how much he is enjoying it.

I have several bibles, but this is by far my favorite! Now when I read and I'm not sure what it is trying to be say, I can read below for explanations. Takes a little longer, because I always read the explanations. So worth it though so that I understand even more. It's heavy, but I'm good with that knowing it's just full of more knowledge. I HIGHLY recommend this bible!!!

This bible was one I was recommended online and it does not disappoint. I would like to make this clear, this is a study bible meaning it has tons of notes at the bottom and make reading it a lot easier. It breaks down a lot of verses into moder language and provided a vaste amount of information. I use this at my study group and it is phenomenal. Whenever I get stuck on a hard chapter, the notes help me persist through with ease. I've purchased another one for a friend, I would recommend this to anyone who is new and looking for an easy way to understand and learn.

I love this study Bible. This is the best one that I have seen. It has the Bible version at the top of every page and at the bottom it breaks it down Into terms, I can understand. Highly recommended.

One of the best study Bibles in my opinion, the notes are more personal than academic but that is why I chose it.The print size is excellent, but, be warned, this is a very large, heavy Bible.When reading it I place it on a cushion on my knees!It also is published in the USA so does use American spelling which is not to everyone's taste

I am in love with this bible. Even stories in the Old testament, the notes get to use these in our application life. The version NIV for me is one becoming the the to read the OT. I have several studies bible but this one probaly will be the one I will read in english.

Ok . So let me start this off by giving y'all a background I'm a ordained Minster who is in his 50s and I have one blind eye so my right eye dose all the heavy lifting lol Ive worn glasses my entire life and as I'm getting a little older my eye sight is getting a little poorer. So I was looking for a good Study Bible . This Bible has everything but the kitchen sink in it lol but I have to warn any woman that may be interested in buying this and carrying it in your purse . ITS FOUR LBS LOL so unless you have football shoulders it may not be a good idea to carry it in your purse , the pages are a little thin so you have to be careful other then that tho the outline and notes are amazing and the quality is excellent and Im able to read for prolonged periods without any strain on my eyes. No matter what Translation you use the Life Applications Study Bibles are a great idea especially for some one who is Intending to go into the ministry .I Hope this helps someone out there God Bless

My Mom had bought a Study Bible for me a few years back but I was having a hard time reading the small print which is the reason I purchased this larger printed Bible. First off, the Bible is beautiful! I love the brown leather! The print is large enough for me to read and I no longer struggle here. I love everything about this Bible. The looks, the print, and all the study applications, the bios of main characters, the maps and the perspective of todays meaning of each Bible section. As others mentioned this is a large Bible and somewhat heavy. If I was going to Church I'm not sure I would want to lug this around. It comes in a very sturdy box that I use to store it in so it doesn't get ruined in some accident around the house. This would also make a great gift to someone as well!

Wonderful bible with a wealth of information. Once started very hard to put down. I had a previous version and the words were quite small.The large print is great, making studying more enjoyable. Brought from Amazon warehouse great condition like new and really good value.It is a heavy bible, so not portable, but great for personal use or bible study groups.
