I usually get the plastic clips but most only 2 year life. Hoping can just leave these metal clips up year round and get several years out of them. Save one step with lights. A little thin and little tough to get on, with tooth grabbing onto, shingle.

These light hooks are well made from quality metal material. They are small and easy to bend, but appear durable. They are probably best suited for hanging lightweight light strings inside the house. I think it might be a bit too challenging for them to hold a long string of heavy lights outside in the elements. But, for limited purposes, they could be most helpful. The item is as described by the seller. I am very pleased with this product and believe you will be as well. Therefore, Dr. T. highly recommends this product!!

These are great for hanging my cafe lights in my backyard. The plastic ones meant for Christmas lights were starting to deteriorate from the sun and they were all falling. These are metal, sturdy and holding up nicely.

These worked so well on the side of my mobile home. Around the skirting they were a little loose but my husband used pliers to squeeze the metal down and they worked perfectly!

Even the description says they will work with gutter the product will not. Do not buy if wanting to use them in gutters.
